I started taking photographs as an eleven year-old in Norwich, England, when, with surprise cash and no rationale, I bought a little brownie. Published widely in Britain (primarily in political newspapers) before I had any training, I eventually took some courses, after moving to California, and bought some better cameras! I tend to see much of life as a series of photographs, so I try to capture it that way; it does mean I miss some of the content, but I do have it available to view later! Haven't gone digital yet (still having too much fun composing with the focus, light and shutter speed) but expect I will soon, as my web site develops. I'm still published regularly, now I'm in the States, have won prizes here and there, had work exhibited and have been motivated to get a web site up by requests from folks seeking my material for permanent exhibitions.
