| Spencer Awes is a self trained photographer who has worked in the art since 1991. He shoots both in the studio and in natural light to create images that idealize the beauty and mystery in life. He began his artistic career living in the delta town of Locke, CA where he made many diffused and dreamy images such as those of flowers shown here. His recent work emphasizes the use of a 1970's Polaroid Land camera from which he makes archival enlargements of the hand-worked polaroid image. |  |
