I am a retired optometrist. Prior to my retirement, I was associated for 29 years with Madeley and Carlson, Medical Corporation in Vallejo. Currently, I share a studio in Benicia with three other local artists. I have exhibited at Arts Benicia, Vallejo Artists Guild, John F. Kennedy Library in Vallejo, Vallejo City Hall and State Senator Wes Chesbro's office. |

I paint landscapes and especially seascapes from photos I have taken during travel up and down the Pacific Coast. I try to remember and recreate the feelings I had at the time, and include that in my painting. It is my hope that the same thing I put into a work is what the viewer will get from it. My preferred medium is acrylics. |
