| James L. Carcioppolo received his BA from the Academy of Arts College in San Francisco in 1975. For the past 25 years, on and off, he has been using the human figure as the basis for his inspiration. Although he does woodcuts and sculpture, his primary medium is acrylic on mural-sized canvases. For the past six years, he has worked from his studio, Ascension Studio, located in the Benicia Arsenal at 940 Tyler Street #10. In addition, he often collaborates with the noted Livermore artist, Rolleen Garrison. | |
