Born in Toledo, Ohio, Robert has lived across the country in Ohio, Minnesota, and northern and southern California. He currently resides in Concord. Robert has had a life-long interest in art, going back to when he took youth art classes at and explored the galleries of the Toledo Museum of Art on Saturday mornings. He earned a B.A. degree with a double major in Art History and English from Bowling Green State University, and an M.A. degree in Art History from the University of Minnesota. He has also taken college level art studio and graphics classes, and currently does artwork at Walnut Creek Civic Arts Education. Robert works primarily in oils and pastels, and previously watercolors. His work includes still lifes, figures, and plein air landscapes. He exhibits in solo and group shows around the Bay Area, and regularly participates in ArtsBenicia's member shows and auctions. More artworks are
