ARTIST’S STATEMENT:

This current body of work is the embodiment of a lifetime of the study of “ART”! As far back as I can remember I wanted to be an “Artist” when I grew up. I am still in pursuit of that dream. My work has a life of its own. I have no plans or designs when I sit down to work on my gourds. I just create. I have no scheduled time when I work on them. I work when the mood strikes and time permits. I have a full time “real job” in the field of Lighting. I am a mother and wife. As a result, my creative time is precious to me and I think that comes through in my work. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I do when I create it.
