Born and raised in Boston, Cheryl and her husband now make their home in Benicia. Cheryl’s first love is watercolor, both realistic and contemporary styles. This third generation artist calls herself an “experimental artist,” because she loves exploring different techniques. While she uses a variety of techniques to achieve the overall effect she wants in any one painting. A unifying theme in all her work is the uplifting use of color. Cheryl paints anything that inspires her, whether it is a garden or a single rose, a lighthouse or an abstract vision. She sells watercolors, collages, monotypes, greeting cards and decorative tiles.
