Artist Statement:
Artists create from all different sources of motivation, but for me it is using my skills to maintain accuracy of form, which competes with my sense of liberation to break the rules of art. My drawings and paintings are inspired from live models. I desire creative poses with energy and emotion. When the model exudes high energy my energy responds, and I become emotionally involved with the artwork. I strive for accuracy of the entire figure, and the accuracy of the pose is maintained even though line and form are partially eliminated.
