My work is primarily about layers and color. Even when I use figures, they tend to disappear and reappear through the layers. Time and space creep into most everything and with these pieces I wanted to show the space as being the larger of the two; space being uncontainable, time being more visible and tangible. When I'm in a particular large open space, I lose track of time, yet when I'm keeping track of time, my space seems confined.

Much of my work is inspired by daily life: my walks in nature, my thoughts on the world, and my observations of the juxtapositions between organic and geometric.

My work is taking a new turn: exploring the sea and figures within.
