Benicia residents for 25 years, Ann Corcoran and Micheal Nourot both are graduates of the California College of Arts and Crafts. Micheal Nourot studied at Venini in Venice before beginning a studio in Ghirardelli Square. His wife Ann Corcoran is well known for her pieces, which she blows herself as well. They are glass makers to the Pope, Presidents and major corporations. This glass studio is known for exceptional quality and vibrant colors, especially reds. 

PBS has shown their movie "Alchemy in Light" numerous times in the last few years. The Nourot Studio Gallery showcases their work as well as other glass artists like Satava and Branson. Every piece of glass by either Corcoran or Nourot is wholly hand formed, signed and numbered. No two can ever be exactly duplicated.
