| Born in Contra Costa County, Robert Quarrick is a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. Graduating from Diablo Valley College, where he majored in painting and ceramics, he |
| was awarded the prestigious Norsman Award for Fine Arts. His Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree is from San Francisco State University where he also earned a Secondary Level teaching credential. Most of his skills in glass are self-taught. |
| His plates and bowls, each one of a kind by color and/or style, are currently represented in 8 galleries, nationally. He participated in the 4th and 5th and recently was accepted to participate in the annual "A Gathering of Glass" (featuring the work of sixty national & international artists) in Wimberly, Texas. |
| His plates were also selected and featured at the 10th
annual San Francisco State University Alumni show this past year. His work is in the permanent archives of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. |
