Whether creating murals or sharing more intimate studio work, my joy as a painter comes in opening others to the dance of line, shape, form and color. This past year I've painted in a variety of venues from the privacy of my studio to the side of a public building. I am continually moved by the power of art to build community and open us to wonder.
Lee Wilder Snider grew up outside of Washington D.C. and overseas. She has a BA, from UC Berkeley, a MS from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a secondary teaching credential in Visual Art from Utah State University. Trained as an art educator, Lee has spent many years encouraging people to create.
Currently she is crafting her own work in Studio A, 946 Tyler Street, located across the hall from "Rags to Riches" consignment store. Visitors welcome.
