Whether creating murals or sharing more intimate studio work, my joy as a painter comes in opening others to the dance of line, shape, form and color. This past year I've painted in a variety of venues from the privacy of my studio to the side of a public building. I am continually moved by the power of art to build community and open us to wonder. Lee Wilder Snider grew up outside of Washington D.C. and overseas. She has a BA, from UC Berkeley, a MS from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a secondary teaching credential in Visual Art from Utah State University. Trained as an art educator, Lee has spent many years encouraging people to create. |
