BIOGRAPHY Mernie's "Rose Portraits" and "Baroque co co" oil paintings have been shown at Arts Benicia Center Gallery and Epperson Gallery in Crockett. She had a one person show at the Benicia Public Library Gallery in February of '01. Her stage set for "Big River" won the Ellie (Northern California theater) Award in '93. She continues to design and paint sets as the lead scenic artist for Woodminster Amphitheater in Oakland. |

| Mernie has been commissioned to create murals for residences & businesses including: Tosco Refinery, Concord Youth Center and Delta Memorial Hospital. Mernie received a BA in Art from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1977 and continued studies at Cornell University and the California College of Arts and Crafts. She is represented by Epperson Gallery, Crockett |
