Biography I have studied dreams for 17 years, meeting weekly with a group of
friends. In our self -analysis, we tend to use Jungian method and principle. We do this to
bring our unconscious to consciousness, both for growth and enjoyment. My dreams have
inspired my subject matter and have encouraged me to pursue my art.I have been drawing off and on for years. |

Other than that, I am
self-taught. I have traveled, studying the work of masters, and use the library.
I use charcoal extensively in my work. It is a good choice for
dreams, giving the picture a dream like quality. I was made aware of this by the work of
Odilon Redon and Georges Seurat. |
|
Some of the abstract pictures capture colors and images which appear just before waking.
I have exhibited pictures in shows in Walnut Creek, Roseville, and Santa Cruz, and in the Walnut Creek Public Library. |
