SELF PORTRAIT For many years I was trapped in my own self-centered morass, dwelling on my plight in the Universe. Then, reeling from a family breakup, a friend introduced me to the world of sculpture. Then came sculpture relief, followed by painting and monotype.

My self-portrait is a bird flying by the window of life. What will be next? As long as I am on the beach, looking for pebbles, there is a good chance I will continue expressing my joy at being alive.

And my work will be a reflection of the spirit of nature.
