Born in Oklahoma, Leroy Parker is a Professor of Fine Art at San Jose State University.

He received a BFA and MFA from CCAC.

Leroy has had shows in the Oakland Museum, The California Museum in Los Angeles and the Triton Museum in Santa Clara. He was on the cover of Art Week for June '99 and has appeared many times on TV and in the papers.

His work is in many Private and Corporate Collections including Art in Public Places.

Parker embellishes everything from manhole covers to jeans to shoes and tree stumps.
