Artist Statement
In 1994 I moved to the Bay Area to pursue a master's degree in Psychology/Art Therapy and discovered the artist within.  My art process is through assemblages, a metaphor of reassembling my adulthood.  These discarded objects relocate themselves into refound images of healing.

"Gotta Quarter?"
10" x 10" Assemblage
Sold to Ethnic Notions, Benicia, CA

"Gentle Treasure"
12 1/2" x 19 1/8" Assemblage
I am a self-taught artist reclaiming my stories through a symbolic imagery of castaway objects that reappear transformed into sculptures of my life experiences.
