I've worked in the creative industry in Northern California for most of my professional life, establishing a successful career as a corporate and advertising creative director in the San Francisco Bay Area. My experience and background in developing conceptual strategies and art directing advertising and communications materials has been valuable as I continually evolve my painting style and technique. The creative process that drives my work is an ongoing search to understand and define the visual and emotional connection with my audience.

While I primarily work in large format oils and multimedia abstracts, I'm also involved in printmaking as another expression of my creative vision and voice.

In painting, I work with big, expansive canvas surfaces that occupy a considerable space and scope of its own, whether viewed in a gallery or corporate environment. I prefer working with large, dynamic imagery, linking visual sequences and textures that engage the viewer. My etching and print work is also very similar in tone and style, incorporating large blocks of solid color and flowing line work that exists within a planed and organized composition.
